Temporary-to-Hire
This is an excellent option for the candidate and employer! Here, a person is temporarily working through Career Options for at least 460 hours. At that point, if the employer feels the employee has good attendance and work ethic, then he/she can be hired on for no additional fee. This allows both parties to be sure it is a good fit during this time. Career Options is considered the employer; therefore all advertising, screening, reference checking, unemployment, workers compensation and taxes are paid by us!
If the position is temporary, our employment agency does offer vacation and holiday pay once a person reaches 1500 hours!
Career Options also offers Aflac personal sickness, accidental, life and disability packages to our part time and full time candidates who have been on our payroll for more than 90 days. (Policies are affordable with group rates and on a voluntary basis for employees as a payroll deduction.) They are 100% employee paid. These are considered supplemental policies and many are only $7.00-$15.00/week. Aflac will pay claims over and above any coverage you already have. You can meet with our Aflac representative at NO COST/NO OBLIGATION after 90 days of employment.Â
