| Why do companies use Career Options? (Top) | |
|
The hiring process can be very lengthy. Some companies don't have the time to advertise, interview the applicants, do the reference checking or administer the necessary tests. Other firms call us because they are having a difficult time finding applicants which have certain skills and training. As specialists in the personnel area, we are experts in finding qualified applicants. Finally, for short-term assignments, Career Options, Inc. can insure that temporary employees have the skills needed to fill in for employees who are gone because of sick leave, vacation, maternity leave etc.

| What are Career Options Temp-to-Hire Hours? (Top) | |
|
During the temp to hire orientation period, you report to one of our clients, but are responsible to and paid by Career Options, Inc. For clerical, skilled positions, and general labor positions the probationary period is 460 hours. Most employees are hired on permanently after 460 hours; HOWEVER, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE HIRED ON AS A PERMANENT EMPLOYEE OF THAT COMPANY. IN ADDITION, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT CAREER OPTIONS IS AN AT-WILL EMPLOYER.

| How do you get paid? (Top) | |
|
You will be told in advance how much the job will pay. Each week you will be issued a time sheet. At the end of your work week or assignment, it MUST be signed by your supervisor. Career Options, Inc. needs to know the hours you worked for the week by noon on the following Monday. Your check will be available for pick-up between 7:45am and 4:30pm on Thursday. If you do not pick up your check by 4:30pm on Thursday, and we've already received a signed timesheet, we will automatically mail your check to you. |

| Obligations as an employee (Top) | |
|
Career Options, Inc. is considered your employer while you're on assignment. Therefore, if you are going to be late, need time off for a doctor's appointment, or have questions about your position, you should contact your Account Specialist first. We have a 24 hour phone service so you can call us at any time if you have a problem with your work assignment. Call: 920-832-4500 |
