"I have been meaning to get a letter to you thanking you for the great service you provided me. Moving from Utah where I left a job I was at for 10 years I was ambitious to get back into the workforce. Because my previous work experience was at a government entity, I thought I would be indispensible to the job market. As time went on I found out differently and became quite discouraged after each application and no word on any of them.
It was then that I decided to try staffing agencies – someone who could be my voice. After interviewing with a few companies I was re-motivated but the amount of work they had available to offer was what felt like quick “fill in” temporary jobs that had no real value to me or to the employer’s interest in the future. I also felt as though I really wasn’t heard, like I was just another job placement or number in their system to check off the list.
