Lisa Powers, President of Career Options, Inc (a staffing and recruiting company) is passionate about the staffing and recruiting business! After leaving the education field in 1997, she accepted a position at Career Options, a company originally started by her mother, Pam Baumann. After opening in 1987, this firm quickly grew into a successful staffing company, specializing in Office, Professional, Skilled and Industrial openings. Many people are surprised to hear that 94% of the positions are temp-to-hire and direct hire!
Over the years, Career Options has expanded the services to include background checks, testing and training of software skills, and complimentary HR and Management seminars available to companies in Green Bay, Fox Cities, and Oshkosh areas. In addition, a Recruiting (headhunting) Division was opened in 2006 and specializes in positions in the $70,000 range and higher. Perhaps for these reasons, Career Options has been recognized as one of the “Top Staffing and Recruiting” companies for the past 5 years!
