Description:
This small and friendly job shop in Greenville of about 15 employees has an immediate temp-to-hire position for an Installer Technician. Candidate will be doing some sign installation and some machine operator/in house sign duties.
There are weeks where there are no installs at all (then candidate would be in the shop doing fabricating/sign making duties). Other weeks, he/she may be doing the installs for 30-40 hours that week. If the person is on a job for example in Milwaukee, they may need to stay later to get the job done and then drive home. If it is a job that last several days, candidate may stay there for a few nights instead of driving back and forth each day/night. They service WI, Iowa, IL and Minnesota. Last year, the installers only did about 10-15 overnights for the entire year.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have general construction experience (such as painting, carpentry, electrical, etc.) or sign installation experience. Strong mechanical experience is needed. Candidate must have a valid driver's license, good driving record (we will need to conduct a WI driver's report), and reliable car. Candidate must be able to lift, bend, twist, etc. Most of the position requires minimal lifting but occasionally you may need to lift up to 100 pounds. Great work ethic, attendance and initiative needed in this role.
Hours:
First shift. 6:30 to 4:30 Monday thru Thursday
Pay:
Approximately $13.00 -$15.00/hour depending on experience.
