Description:
This is a full time, direct hire position for a smaller company in Dale (about 20 minutes West of Appleton). They have 13 total employees. They are looking for a welder/fabricator that has strong mechanical skills.
Duties: Provide high quality, timely workmanship on propane and refined fuel vehicles. Use correct tools/equipment for the job, demonstrates good judgment. Weld and fabricate as needed. At all times keep safety first and foremost. Make appropriate recommendations for process improvements/working smarter. Effectively share knowledge and experience with all coworkers. Maintain strong working relationship between supervisors and other internal departments/ coworkers. Quality controls own work as well as others when needed to ensure zero callbacks. Stay current/actively participates in all safety and training modules. Assist in facility maintenance as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in welding, torching, hand and power tools. Must have strong mechanical skills. Ability to learn and follow pre-established guidelines and instruction to perform job functions. Required to complete in-shop training procedures pertaining to safety, Hazmat, vehicle inspection test, etc. Perform maintenance and repairs mechanical equipment, machinery and components of engines and operating equipment. Must have own tools to perform job assignments. Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to stand and occasionally sit at workbench; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands/arms to handle, feel, or manipulate objects; reach with hands arm to climb or balance; talk and hear. Preference to those with CDL (Class H Hazardous Materials or N Tank Vehicles preferred but not required. Must pass welding test.
Pre-employment drug screening required.

Hours:
Candidate will be working 40 hours between the hours of 7:30am-5pm, M-F. There is some occasional overtime. Often, employees are done by 4:00pm, but there are times when overtime requires working until 5pm or 6pm.
Pay:
$14-18.00/hour.
