Description:
Our growing and innovative manufacturing client in Green Bay has a Direct Hire position available for a CNC Programmer. They have 65 employees and have a casual, family type culture. This company provides machining, fabricating, mechanical assembly and packaging solutions to OEM clients worldwide. They have made significant investments in new machinery and growing their business!
The Programmer determines the sequence of shaping operations and chooses the cutting tools needed, analyzes job orders, drawings, blueprints and other data and then perform all the necessary calculations. In addition, the Programmer writes programs or modifies existing programs than stores them on the company database. After programming, the candidate will ensure that the machines and programs operate correctly and that products meet specifications. This work often includes CAD blueprints or Solid Models, determining where to cut, and other calculations. Knowledge of Solid Works is necessary.

Qualifications:
The Programmer must demonstrate ability to write G Code programs fluently thru Mastercam for both Mill and Lathe. In addition, they need reading comprehension, knowledge of mathematics and use of active listening skills. Critical thinking, logic and reasoning to troubleshoot and solve problems.
This position also requires 3 or more years’ experience with G Code programming
Drug Test required for first day.
Hours:
First shift. You can work 4 Ten hours days OR 5 Eight hour days! For example, the 4 Ten hour shift is M-Th, from 4am-2pm.
