Career Options, Inc is seeking an INTERNAL Sales Intern starting mid-later August and lasting 3-6 months, possibly longer for the right candidate. This part time position will offer you a warm and professional environment, strong mentoring and the ability to be part of a team. Career Options is a family owned staffing company in Appleton since 1987. This intern will be calling on new accounts, setting up sales appointments for the President, sending out marketing pieces via email or mail, updating the database, and following up with potential clients. This position is for an outgoing, motivated and professional person who is seeking experience in business or sales. Other duties include backing up the receptionist when she is out of the office.This position also offers free software training, cross training in other areas, and interaction with many different industries in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas. If candidate does well, there is a possibility for more hours or an extended internship.
Qualifications:
This internship is ideal for those currently going to school for Business, Sales, Marketing or similar area, or for those looking to gain more experience in the Sales area. This position requires 80% sales calls so candidate cannot be afraid to make outbound calls. (Training offered.) Candidate must have Microsoft Word/Excel/Internet experience and have excellent communication/people skills. Valid driver's license is required. Candidate must be able to provide 2 references that demonstrate candidate’s excellent attendance and work ethic. Preference to those with office experience but not required.
Hours:
8am-noon OR 8:30-12:30pm, M-F. If candidate does well, there is a possibility for more hours.
Pay:
$9.00/hour + commission. Intern is also eligible for up to $250.00 bonus at the end of Internship! (Attendance, sales ability, team work, initiative will be taken into consideration.)
If intern is hired as a permanent employee (either part time or full time), there will be a wage review at that time.
