Description:
Our client in Oshkosh is seeking a temp/hire machine operator. Set-up, adjust and operate printer and/or developer machines where skill is required to maintain registration of solder resist. Responsible for safe chemical processing practices and proper handling techniques. Monitor inventory and notify purchasing when materials and supplies are needed. Required competencies include adaptability, teamwork and quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate printer and/or developer
Follow procedures accurately and efficiently
Inspect product visually and with the use of gauges
Perform preventive maintenance tasks
Monitor vacuum pressure on printer, temperature and pump pressure on developer
Monitor developer solution parameters and notify lab personnel when not consistent
Complete chemistry additions and bath changes as prescribed
Identify scrap and its causes
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Qualications
Drug test and physical required before first day.
Machine operator or printing experience is required (although this printing operation is different than standard printing presses.)
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Hours:
Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7:30 AM; However, please note that training will be on1st shift.
Pay:
$10/hr starting with a $.50/hr shift premium. $10.25/hr after 90 days; $11/hr after 1 year with good performance reviews + $.50/hr shift premium as well.
