Description:
This is a temp to hire (possibly direct hire) position for an experienced machinist. (No CNC programming experience is required but they do require someone who has 1 year of operating CNC equipment.) This is a specialized automotive company of 20 employees. Because many of the automotive parts are no longer in existence, create customized parts as well as do general production pieces. You will be assisting the CNC programmer in this position where it is essential to find the correct tooling, decide on the metal, and create unique parts. This is a machinist/machine operator role.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have at least one year on the job machinist experience operating CNC equipment. Must have strong mechanical and problem solving skills. Must be eager and a real go getter. Excellent measuring skills needed as well as strong attention to detail/accuracy.
Hours:
7am-3:30pm
Pay:
$14.00-15.50 per hour to start
